I have been staying at the birdhouse for the past 5 summers and each time I have had an amazing experience. Lalith and his family make me feel so comfortable and I always feel like part of their family when I am there. The birdhouse is a relaxing refuge and the people in the village are so friendly and I never feel like a stranger when I am there. My only regret is that I don’t have more time to spend there. Lalith and his family have a wealth of knowledge about the area and whatever I want they can always provide. I think it is the best place to stay in all of Unawatuna an oasis for any traveler
